FindMyDiscounts.com is a way of finding out what discounts you are eligible for but don't know about. There are thousands of discounts available to members or customers of different organisations, particularly those that issue membership cards. But it's almost impossible to remember them all. We aim to get all this information into one place, so you know which card to show to get the cheap movie tickets, or which place to go to get the best deal.
For now we are covering discounts from organisations in Australia. If you have some that aren't listed, please let us know (see below).
You can browse by the region (state in Australia) and by the type of product/service you're looking for. In the near future you'll also be able to search by using keywords, and or look by the type of membership you have.
In most cases you should take your membership card along and show it at the time of purchase or booking. In the case of telephone or internet transactions, usually you have to nominate what kind of membership you have, and enter your membership number.
Remember to check the instructions, terms and conditions carefully as specific exclusions often apply to discount offers. In most cases this will include purchases that are already discounted (for whatever reason, including bulk discounts) or have another offer attached to them, and things like gift certificates are usually not included.
This might happen if the individual staff involved isn't aware of the discount offer. You might like to (politely and respectfully) ask that they double-check their information, and/or talk to a manager. Remember that specific conditions often apply to discount offers.
If they really won't give you the discount, it's obviously up to you if you go ahead with the transaction. If it appears that the discount information provided here is incorrect (or unclear), please let us know.

In some cases, discounts are made available simply by quoting a code. Revealing this publically to non-members is unfair -- it would allow anybody to see and use that code, thus jeopardising the discount to members. In these cases, we refer you back to the membership organisation's information. If this is available online (and behind a logon) we'll try and provide a direct URL so you can just click through.
In some cases, the cost of membership is cheaper than the discount provided. It may be well worth you signing up with the organisation, to get access to the discount.
